The Age Of Fitzpatrick

Either I haven't done a lot lately or I have been doing too much because I can't think of anything to write about. But I have the chance so I think I'll see what I can do. Why not talk about Halloween? An interesting holiday, Halloween, once called All Hallows Eve, is the night before the first of November: All Saints Day. It was believed that demons would come to the world on this evening and do their demonly thing. So people took to wearing costumes so that the demons would think that they were not people and wouldn't kill them. I don't know how we came up with idea to pilfer candy off of everyone but I certainly do enjoy it. I didn't go door to door this year for a couple of reasons. First, I've never gone before and I didn't want to break my record. Second, Mom was requiring that anyone that goes out had to hand out tracts to any house they went to. Third, I didn't want to. So instead I stayed home and watched Pirates Of The Carribean while eating a bunch of candy bars that Mom had for the trick-or-treaters. Later that night I finally got a chance to call Rachel and Bonnie at Bonnie's house but our phone conversation was cut short by Mrs. Broderick. All I remember is that I didn't have much to say and I felt dumb, that I told Rachel something, and that our conversation ended on quite and interesting topic to say the least. I didn't even get to say goodbye, thanks to Rae *sarcastic*.

About the title, I just made that up. I just finished reading a book called Fitzpatrick's War, I loved it. I've sort of got myself back into the habit of reading again. For a time I sort of stopped reading but now I find that its the only place I can go to get away from everything. These days I find myself wanting to get away a lot more often, I'm changing and I hope everything will turn out okay. Sometimes I feel like I need a vacation.

I'm done now, but I'll be back.

John
