The landscape has put on it's winter coat. The grey and brown of concrete and dirt continues to poke through but are softened by their new blanket of snow. It was surreal to look out of our window yesterday and watch the small white powdery flakes swirling down from a grey and lowering sky. The mercury has been dropping lately and I don't suspect that it will be arrested any time soon. It's snowed once already this year, but each time it seems new and (I'm sorry, I know it's cliche) magical, almost mysterious. It's beginning to be dramatically different from the place I call home.

Magical is a perfect word for it. Snow is truly beautiful. I wish we had more of it here in Portland. Thanks for sharing. I am praying for ya.
